Music For Everyone presents a delightful Act Up Sing Out production of The Musicians of Bremen. Based on the traditional Brothers Grimm fairytale about abandoned farm animals who dream of becoming town musicians, this fun-filled musical for children also features other story book characters like the Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks & the Three Bears! The Act Up Sing Out performers aged 7 to 11 years are directed by Dianna Nixon, with Vanessa Nimmo. Ideal for families, and for preschool and primary schools ages. Duration: 35 mins.

Family Shows: Sunday 27 June 3pm & Monday 28 June 6pm
All tickets $4. No bookings - Tickets at the door only

School shows: Mon 28 June 10am & Tuesday 29 June 10am

Holiday workshop for children 7-11 years

Make music theatre yourself - act, sing, dance, write, create!

Make Your Own Musical is a holiday workshop packed full of fun music and theatre activities for children aged 7-11 years. Enjoy a week of creativity in the July school holidays with singing, acting, movement, even writing words and music for a show yourself! No previous experience is necessary - anyone can join this workshop and have fun with music theatre. This special Act Up Sing Out holiday workshop is led by a team of experienced tutors and music theatre professionals, and runs Monday 12 July to Friday 16 July 9.00am to 12.30pm each day, plus a final rehearsal and performance session on Friday 16 July from 4pm to 6pm. The Make Your Own Musical workshop is held at the Ainslie Arts Centre (the old Ainslie Infants School) on the corner of Elouera Street and Donaldson St Braddon.

ACT UP SING OUT SQUEAK!

Junior Music Theatre Workshop for 7-11 yrs Terms 3 & 4

Join Music For Everyone’s Act Up Sing Out Junior Workshop - and play a part in a very special show! There are places for 30 boys and girls aged 7-11 years in SQUEAK, a Christmas musical that tells the story of how Silent Night came to be written.....maybe! Franz Gruber and his choir are hard at work in the village church, preparing for their Christmas concert, when disaster strikes. Can Mr Gruber write a new song now that the organ is broken? Is Inspector Grimm going to close down the church? And what have the mice got to say about it all? Squeak has plenty of great roles for boys and girls. You’ll learn singing, dancing and acting with professional tutors at your weekly workshops in Terms 3 & 4, plus give four fabulous performances for kids, families and friends at the end of the workshop in November! No previous experience necessary. Workshop sessions are Mondays 5.00-6.30pm in Terms 3 & 4. Performances are 21-23 November.
