World Music Rhythms

This program offers a range of group classes in percussion:

Drumming and percussion classes for children and adults

These classes introduce students to different drumming styles and teach the basic technical aspects of the instruments.

Students learn the rudiments of drumming in a range of musical genres including African, South American and Middle Eastern rhythms.

Drum-kit classes for children and youth

These classes introduce students to the various percussion instruments that make up the standard drum-kit and teach the techniques needed for playing each component.

Students in the World Music Rhythms program perform at Music For Everyone concerts and can take part in other special events.
