Violin and Cello
This program offers a range of group classes for children and adults. Students learn the basics of instrumental technique, music reading and group performance. This is a fun way to begin learning the violin or the cello and to develop further at the elementary or intermediate level. The classes run for 45 min per week and the class size will be 4-8 students.
Who can join?
- Beginners class: for children 7-10 yrs who are complete beginners.
- Beginners class: for adults who are complete beginners.
- Continuing classes are also offered at elementary and intermediate levels.
What do you need?
- violin/cello and bow
- folder for music
- music will be provided for initial lessons: your tutor will advise you if you need to purchase music-books
- music stand for home practice
Students in group classes can perform at Music For Everyone concerts and take part in other special events.
For more experienced players, there are also ensembles at Music For Everyone. Playing in an ensemble is a great way to make music with the skills you already have and refine techniques together. For more information:
